The Youth Ministry of Union Tabernacle MBC vision is to Help Young People Development a Biblical Worldview & Walk in their God-giving Purpose in Life. Driven by love for God we seeks to be biblical, relevant, focused, futuristic, and spiritual as we achieve our mission within the Youth Ministry. The youth enhance the congregation in being a congregation of the future that seeks to up build the kingdom of God.
The purpose of the Youth Ministry is design meet the wholistic needs of the children of the church and community through Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship, Ministry, and Worship.
"Reach Out" in Evangelism: “Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of the ministry” 2 Timothy 4:5.
To provide clarity in a child’s walk with God in order to provide opportunities for children to share their faith with others in the community and surrounding areas in efforts to win them to Christ.
"Reach In" in Discipleship: “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that will, not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15.
To build spiritual strong children through reading, understanding, obeying and applying the principles of God’s Word for daily living.
"Reach Across" in Fellowship: “God is faithful, by whom you were called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9.
To provide opportunities for children to have fun while seeking to develop strong lasting relationships with other children and adults.
"Reach Down" in Ministry/Service: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19.
To provide a meaningful interpretation of the Great Commission to the youth to reach out, reclaim the lost, and caring for the needs of all.
"Reach Up" in Worship: “Yet a time is coming and now has come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.” John 4:23.
To cultivate an attitude in children to reverence God through praise and worship despite age, gender, adults and other potential barriers.
